Syble Solomon

Syble is a nationally recognized expert on the psychology of money and financial behavior. She was honored to be the recipient of the Distinguished Fellow Award from the Association of Financial Counseling and Planning Education in recognition of her pioneering work on the role of emotions in financial decision-making. She is the creator of Money Habitudes®, an award-winning, game-like, money personality profile. Her work helps banks and credit unions recognize the emotional, behavioral, and relational factors that impact client decision-making. When she got her degree in economics with a minor in psychology and did graduate work in education, counseling and business, she couldn’t have anticipated it would all come together and lead to working with financial institutions and survivors of abuse.

Known as an engaging, down-to-earth speaker, she has presented at hundreds of conferences and events for credit unions, banks, financial planners, financial professionals, universities, the military and nonprofits across the U.S. and internationally.  (She was even an invited speaker for the NFL and International Women’s Conferences!)

Syble has been quoted in over 100 professional and popular publications including WSJ, NYT, Market Watch, Forbes, Morningstar and USA Today.

Related Experiences include being an executive coach for 20+ years for the Center of Creative Leadership and the National Leadership Institute at the University of Maryland. Her clients were from financial institutions, corporations, non-profits, universities and the military.  Personally, she has a long affiliation with programs for women and domestic violence as a consultant, trainer and volunteer.

The Personal Side includes time with her two grandsons and tap dancing. She has traveled to all fifty states and 60 countries.  At home she can be found hiking or hanging out at the Bitterroot River in Montana where she lives with her husband and an energetic Bernedoodle.
